“El Monstruo de Colores no sabe qué le pasa, se ha hecho un lío con las emociones y ahora le toca deshacer el embrollo…”, así comienza la historia sencilla y divertida de nuestro amigo protagonista, narración con la que dimos inicio a la Línea de Indagación 1 “Una indagación acerca de las emociones en los seres humanos”.
Este vídeo-cuento permitió a los niños aprender a identificar las distintas emociones de una manera muy gráfica, usando el color como eje central del relato; emociones como por ejemplo la alegría, la tristeza, la rabia, el miedo y la calma, a través de los colores amarillo, azul, rojo, negro y verde, respectivamente. Posteriormente, elaboraron sus propios monstruos de colores; para ello utilizaron medias, tintes y diferentes materiales, los que serán usados para las actividades propias de la acción.
El mensaje final fue explicarles a los niños sobre la importancia de expresar sus pensamientos y sentimientos. Si aprenden a comunicar lo que sienten y empiezan a interesarse por cómo se sienten los demás estarán aprendiendo el significado de vivir en sana convivencia… estarán aprendiendo a vivir en comunidad como nos lo enseñó San Agustín.
